Lytics Hires Scott Campbell as Chief Revenue Officer
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) September 11, 2017 -- Lytics, the only enterprise-grade customer data platform (CDP), has attracted Scott Campbell as its chief revenue officer (CRO). Campbell is leading both the marketing-technology company’s sales and customer-success organizations.
Campbell has a track record of success in taking startups to the next level. Prior to Lytics, Campbell was senior vice president of sales for Puppet, a “DevOps” product for enterprise data-center management. Campbell held the same role at Jive Software, and has held similar sales leadership roles at Tripwire and Rogue Wave Software.
Campbell joining Lytics is the latest good news for the company, which has had a banner year. The company started 2016 having quadrupled revenue over 2015, and has had record-breaking first and second quarters ever since. The CDP provider now counts The Economist Group, Atlassian, Heineken, Nestle, and Newsweek as clients (among dozens of others).
In addition to dramatically increasing revenue, Lytics has recently aligned itself with technology leaders. Google has added Lytics as the only customer data platform to its list of built-in integrations in its popular Google Tag Manager tool. And Snapchat has made Lytics one of their Audience Match partners integrated into its advertising management tool; this integration enables advertisers to create and reach custom and "lookalike" audiences based on their customer data. These achievements, along with receiving selection by technology innovators such as Atlassian, helps cement the company’s reputation as the enterprise-grade choice among dozens of companies calling themselves CDPs.
“We’re fortunate to have Scott join us as we break out in a crowded marketplace of martech companies leveraging customer data,” said James McDermott, CEO and co-founder of Lytics. “Scott has a history of taking startups to the next level, and it really speaks to our strong foundation to have such a leader join us.”
