M7225 Batch Handheld Computer Now Ships with Popular DC Suite Software Pre-Loaded

DC Suite includes seven applications for the most common barcode data collection tasks, such as inventory counting, asset tracking, and check-in/check-out, and now comes installed on every batch (non-wireless) version of AML’s M7225 handheld computer. With DC Suite, users also have access to DC Console, a PC-based utility that allows users to customize existing applications or generate new applications to best suit their needs. Both DC Suite and DC Console are offered free-of-charge to AML customers.

DC Suite was made popular by AML’s LDX10 handheld computer, a low cost device intended for entry-level or low-volume applications. However, the need for a larger screen or full-alphanumeric keypad prompted the decision to offer DC Suite on AML’s rugged handheld computer, the M7225.

The M7225 is the perfect combination of durability and usability. It has the durability and toughness to be used in the warehouse or the manufacturing plant, but is lightweight and compact enough for retail or commercial uses. The batch version of the M7225 is ideal when a Wi-Fi network isn’t available because of the remoteness of the location or because the cost of the network infrastructure can’t be justified.
