mHUB and DMDII Name Fourth Revolution Award Recipients: Manufacturer of the Year, Marmon; Corporate Champion, Microsoft; and Fourth Revolution Champion, Brad Keywell
CHICAGO (PRWEB) September 20, 2018 -- mHUB, and Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII), have named Marmon Holdings, Inc. as Manufacturer of the Year; Microsoft as Corporate Champion; and Brad Keywell as Fourth Revolution Champion of the second annual Fourth Revolution Awards. The industry awards ceremony will take place on October 10, 2018, at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago to recognize the leadership, innovation and achievements of the Midwest’s manufacturing community.
The Manufacturer of the Year award recognizes an individual or manufacturing company that has demonstrated its excellence in business practices, innovative processes, and productivity enhancements, and has made a significant financial investment to manufacturing capacity in the region.
Marmon Holdings, Inc., with more than 100 autonomous manufacturing and service businesses across 13 diverse business sectors, is dedicated to developing creative, customer-focused products and services. During the 13-year tenure of outgoing Chairman and CEO Frank Ptak, Marmon has achieved significant growth through both internal investment and acquisitions. Brad Keywell, co-founder and CEO of Uptake, is the inaugural recipient of this award, recognizing his work at the company to help industrial companies digitally transform with open, purpose-built software that delivers outcomes that matter.
