Madison Rising Answers Glenn Beck’s Call
(PRWEB) July 30, 2013 -- With an array of rock anthems, a best-selling single and live performances seen by tens of thousands of people around the country, patriotic rock band Madison Rising has convincingly answered the call put out by conservative media powerhouse Glenn Beck to reach out and appeal to the youth with positive pro-American messages.
To commemorate that achievement, the band has released a special music video for their song Rally The Youth, complete with an introduction and outro featuring Beck’s plea: http://youtu.be/ZCwCpxGU5CE.
The video highlights dozens of heartwarming letters from school children praising the band for their music, as well as an assortment of screenshots of touching comments from fans around the country who admire the bands music, message and mission in the face of such a hostile cultural environment.
“I’m looking for people who see the world in a different way,” Beck said, in a desperate plea on his nationally syndicated radio show last summer. “If we don’t win the culture war, we’re done,” he continued. “We’ve got country music mastered. We got that. Now can somebody APPEAL, and give us a soundtrack of OUR revolution? If we can’t do that we lose.”
Beck’s ominous warning reflects decades of similar appeals by radio hosts and political leaders to utilize and leverage popular culture to promote traditional American values of gratitude, hard work and integrity. However, no one has been able to achieve this elusive goal on a national scale until Madison Rising hit the scene.
“We’re down in Dallas for a full week to perform at the North Texas State Fair on August 21st,” said Madison Rising lead singer Dave Bray, a military veteran and former 8404 FMF Corpsman for 2nd battalion 2nd Marines. “I’m a huge Glenn Back fan and have listened to him almost every day for the past 6 or 7 years,” Bray admitted. “Now we’ll be right in Glenn’s backyard. It would be great if he would have us on his show to let the American people know we’ve answered his call and that there is a way to reach out to the youth and reclaim our culture after all.”
The band also indicated that that it would announce the launch of a Rally The Youth campaign early next year in conjunction with the upcoming bicentennial of the Star Spangled Banner in 2014. That campaign is based on a continuing influx of inquires from teachers around the country regarding the band’s #1 best selling rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. As part of the campaign, Madison Rising will make lead singer Dave Bray available to bona-fide educators for Skype sessions into their classrooms to talk directly to students about the origin and significance of our nation’s National Anthem and what that song means to them. The band has offered carte blanche to any teachers wanting to use the bands music or video for educational purposes within their classrooms on a royalty free basis, and is actively seeking other organizations to partner up with to help support this initiative.
Madison Rising promotes the principles of liberty, independence, smaller government and personal responsibility. The band has just completed recording its second album and is actively touring around the country.
