MagRabbit and Austin Sunshades Joins Forces with Richard Woods Kustoms and WyoTech to Complete Custom Rebuild of 1966 Ford Mustang for 2015 SEMA Show.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 05, 2015 -- MagRabbit, Inc., a global software development company, joined forces with Austin area automotive specialists, Austin Sunshades and Richard Woods Kustom, to provide computer technology expertise for the rebuild of a 1966 Mustang that is used in educational programs that support the continuing education of military veterans.
Unveiled for its first public debut on Tuesday, November 3 at the 2015 SEMA Show, WyoTech showcased the custom rebuilt Ford Mustang at their booth with local, congressional, military and celebrity guests in attendance.
With the project down to the wire over the Halloween weekend, Austin Sunshades owner,
Robert Gonzales called on MagRabbit’s CTO, Aaron Hodinh, late on Halloween eve, to provide emergency technology support so they could complete the job on schedule for the SEMA 2015 show.
Hodinh showed up in costume on his way home from a Halloween party and stayed up until 4:30 am cranking out cut-outs for all of the vendor logos that were then painted on the car by the Austin Sunshades team. “Once Robert explained that this was in support of the USMEA, I assured them that MagRabbit would be honored to support our military in any way we can." said Hodinh.
Austin Sunshades tinted the windows using 3M Crystalline CR70 Window Tinting and worked with Richard Wood Kustoms to create and install all of the graphics for display under the hood of the Mustang. Robert Gonzales, owner of Austin Sunshades reached out to Polk Audio, which provides stereo systems for homes, cars, and boats, who generously supplied a top of the line stereo system which Austin Sunshades installed.
Gonzales was honored to be asked by Richard Wood Kustoms to work on this project “Anything we can do to support our military made it real easy to jump right in. It also gave us an opportunity to learn the key points in building a hot rod from start to finish”.
