Malibu, California (PRWEB) September 02, 2013 -- Lisa is a Board Certified Health & Nutrition Coach. She received her education in Nutrition and Lifestyle counseling through Integrative Nutrition accredited by Columbia University Teacher’s College in New York City. Before joining the Paradigm Malibu team, Lisa worked in a private practice under the direct supervision of a renowned physician and leader in Eastern/Western Medicine.
As a therapist for Paradigm Malibu, Lisa focuses on her model for getting teen and adolescents into balance. She works with her patients on recognizing who they are as individuals. She compels them to look inside and find the winner within. Lisa helps her patients to explore healthy options that will decrease undesirable cravings, reduce the likelihood of relapse, increase energy, allow for more restful sleep, improve memory and learning, curb emotional eating, stabilize blood sugar levels and elevate mood.
“I want my patients to be mindfully aware,” Lisa said. “My patients tend to experience less frustration, fear and anger. They enjoy a greater capacity for compassion and understanding of others as a result of this increased awareness,” Lisa said.
Through Lisa’s transformational program, her patients can begin to live their lives in a place of absolute truth and oneness with themselves. Lisa’s patients develop the tools to challenge old ideas, beliefs and repressed issues that have stood in the way of them living happy, healthy and loving lives. Lisa works in collaboration with Paradigm’s chef to plan healthy meals. She also works directly with each client at Paradigm Malibu to create a custom diet and lifestyle program.
“I start by evaluating the whole person. I look at the foods they eat, their physical activity, their personal relationships, etc. I focus on whether or not they trust their intuition. I work to ensure that they are being guided through life by their highest self,” Lisa said.
During her time off, Lisa enjoys focusing on her family and her own wellness. She enjoys hot yoga, meditation, dancing, exercising and other health-related activities. Lisa is a single parent of two beautiful children.
