Man-to-man Encouragement Builds Stronger Christians
PENSACOLA, Florida (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- During biblical times, a lot was expected of men to be admirable sons and husbands, leaders and protectors of the family. Not much has changed from then to now, especially in the Christian faith.
Men’s ministry leader, Les Tripp, recently released his new book, “Strong and Courageous: A Devotional for Men in the Battle,” where he mines the book of Joshua for the principles modern men need for victory in the battles of life today and steps to take in becoming a stronger Christian.
In the Bible, the book of Joshua follows the Israelites in their battle to follow God’s commands and claim the Promised Land. Tripp believes there is much to be said about Joshua’s leadership of the Israelites and his life as an example for victorious living today.
“Each devotional contains a description of the actions taken by Joshua and the Israelites, application to contemporary life and questions concerning one’s walk with the Lord and one’s disciple making ministry,” Tripp said.
Tripp believes Joshua’s life as a leader of men will challenge men to grow in the Lord and encourage them in their battles.
