Manchester Business School Miami Center Streamlines Part-time Global MBA
Miami, FL (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- Manchester Business School Miami’s Part-time Global MBA program has become more efficient. Starting with the January 2014 intake, students will have the ability to finish the program half a year sooner than the previous three-year format.
The program is the same from the perspective of number of classes, but now includes an additional workshop at the start of the third semester, resulting in one semester in which students take two workshops instead of one.
"We are very excited about the changes that we are making to the Global MBA Program. The accelerated program better fits the lifestyle and preferences of the students that we target, while still maintaining the quality and rigor that Manchester Business School is known for around the world," says Regional Director Melissa Holland.
MBS will also employ modules (classes) that will crossover between semesters in order to provide a timelier program to busy, working professionals.
The change is the board of Manchester Business School’s answer to a market that demands a Global MBA program efficient enough to give students the applied learning necessary to return quickly to the business world with enhanced skills.
The new Part-time Global MBA length accelerates an already flexible program, which is designed to fit around work and personal commitments. World-class teaching is delivered in blocks at residential workshops, with online activity to enrich the learning experience. There is also real international flexibility within the program; students can attend workshops at any of MBS’ global locations. Time out of the office is scheduled in advance and students can study at the most convenient of MBS’ seven global centers.
Students can choose to study in Manchester, Dubai, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Miami or São Paulo. Students immerse themselves in new cultures, build their international network and explore different ways of doing business with world leading experts. The Manchester Part-time Global MBA focuses on applied learning, stimulates original thinking and gets students noticed.
Established in 1824, the University of Manchester is the largest single-site university in the UK. The University is ranked 40th in the world, seventh in Europe and fifth in the UK, offers the only UK-based Global MBA in the United States and almost two-thirds of its research is ranked as world-leading or internationally excellent.
