Manchester NH Tattoo Studio Shares Its Grand Opening With the Community
Manchester, NH (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- The founders of Top Shelf Tattoo Gallery agree that there are plenty of tattoo shops in Manchester, NH to choose from. However, by opening their new shop they hope to put a more colorful spin on the standard tattoo shop.
As the gallery’s founders Al Hendershot and Jef Lessard explain, Top Shelf Tattoo Gallery was founded to be more than just a tattoo parlor. "We want to make our piece of Elm Street different, and we think the result is something our clients will really appreciate," says Lessard.
"That's where we work in the 'gallery' part of the name," says Hendershot. "Being comfortable and feeling like you're in good hands is one thing, and every tattoo shop will tell you they have that. At Top Shelf, we take it a little further by hosting events and exhibiting all kinds of local art."
The gallery has already hosted a poetry event, multiple local musicians, and is actively searching for more artists interested in exhibiting their work. Hendershot believes this will not only make Top Shelf Tattoo Gallery a unique tattoo shop, but a valuable addition to the arts community in Manchester as well. Lessard adds, "As a tattoo shop, our business is self expression, and that’s not really limited to tattoos. Instead, we bring all kinds of expression together. On some level, we think that will make us a more creative and unique tattoo shop for Manchester. On another level, it's a hell of a lot of fun."
Top Shelf Tattoo Gallery opened with 5 tattoo artists including Lessard, Christian Juarez, Kait Edwards, Ryan Lee, and Andy Ellis. On top of this, the tattoo gallery also offers full service piercing from veteran piercer Jennifer Reno.
