They believe Nida vanished because their asylum-seeker status barred her from attending university and she wanted to pursue a career as a marketing or finance manager. Police have searched streams and areas around the Transporter Bridge and George Street Bridge. They have also scoured land near the Lysaght Institute, and Pill Millennium centre.
