Mangrove Releases New Mobile App for FSA and Dependent Care Administration
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Mangrove Software, a leading cloud provider in enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions and Benefit Administration, has announced the release of a newly redesigned mobile application for Health and Dependent Care FSA participants.
With over 6,000 Health and Dependent Care FSA participants, Mangrove saw the need for a more streamlined and convenient method for accessing important account details such as contribution totals, last date for claim submission and/or portfolio balance.
“We live in an instant information world where everything we do is mobile. FSA plans have become increasingly easier to use since debit cards became available, so why stop there? Account balances, transaction details, claims submission for reimbursement – those should all be just as easy as accessing your phone,” says Leslie Weitz, Benefits Product Manager.
The newly redesigned mobile application intends to communicate the latest participant account information including:
• Ability to register new accounts
• Access participant balance
• Account/transaction details
• Submit claims for reimbursement
• Submit receipt requests
In addition to the newly redesigned application, participants can now register for SMS/TXT communications. Participants can register their mobile telephone number and elect to receive “push” alerts via text message such as a “Low Balance” alert. They can also text BAL to 42265 to receive current balance information on all reimbursement benefit accounts registered with Mangrove such as HRA, HAS, FSA, etc.
The newly redesigned application is currently available in the Google Play Store and will be available in the Apple App Store by the end of November 2014.
