Mangstor and Mellanox Demonstrate All-Flash SSD Storage Array Achieving 10GB/s using NVMe over Fabrics

The NMX-Series All-Flash-Array products build on Mangstor’s leading performance MX6300 SSDs, combined with Mellanox's industry leading line of ConnectX® VPI adapters with support for InifiniBand and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) providing over 10GB/s bandwidth at latencies comparable to local server based NVMe devices.
The Mangstor NMX Series appliances address the growing need of applications requiring the highest read/write bandwidth with low latency to shared flash storage for cluster server configurations. The Mellanox adapters support a Mangstor pre-1.0 version of NVMe over Fabrics using either RoCE or InfiniBand to provide high throughput at the lowest latency. Mangstor’s optimized storage software and SSDs provide a non-proprietary solution which considerably outperforms traditional SAN-attached All-Flash and Hybrid Arrays, and enables customers to seamlessly evolve their traditional server attached storage to the rapidly growing Server-SAN storage environment.
