Manolo Salons Unveils New Couture Styling Collection from Kérastase Paris
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 10, 2013 -- Always on the cutting edge of innovation to treat, protect and improve hair, Kérastase Paris has created a new dimension of luxury styling. The premium hair care products in the Couture Styling collection, which includes 11 high-performance formulas, are now available at Manolo Salons.
Created as a result of 2,300 tests worldwide, the Couture Styling lineup features avant-garde technology and focuses on reinventing textures of hair fiber. The collection is expected to expand again in September but currently the eight products that have been released include: tousled effect Spray à Porter; blow dry gel Forme Fatale; curl mousse Boucles d’Art; Mousse Bouffante for luxurious volume; Lift Vertige for creating a "higher hair" effect; micro mist hairspray Laque Couture; instant shine top coat Gloss Appeal; and polishing serum Touche Finale.
World-renown hair stylist and salon owner Manolo Colmenero has incorporated the diverse array of products into his collection of premium hair care products he uses to pamper clients of his salon. “France has the best technology in cosmetics and hair products. I offer only the best in my salon,” Manolo said. “Kérastase requires that stylists know how to use the products properly and be certified to sell them in their salons. We know how to recommend the specific product that is right for your hair and for the look that you are trying to achieve.”
Just in time for summer, the first product to debut from the collection is the multi-dimensional Spray à Porter, a texture spray that creates the effortless look of tousled beach waves, even if you’re nowhere near an ocean. This versatile styling product, which can be applied to damp or dry hair, provides medium hold with flexible movement and shape memory and helps build soft, touchable tresses without the sticky, salty feel.
“There are different ways to use Spray à Porter for all types of hair,” Manolo advises. “You can spray liberally on towel dried hair and dry style with a blow dryer, then use a curling iron to create more defined texture. Or let your hair air dry and use your fingers to scrunch or style as usual with heat tools. It is especially a great product for men to create a glossy, finished look to tousled hair. It can also be used to style a second day look on dry hair.”
Manolo adds that all the products in the Couture Styling collection allow him to customize styles and finishes to fit the unique nature of each woman. “Boucles d’Art creates beautiful, sculptured curls, and I use the Gloss Appeal to tame flyaways and smoothen hair. Forme Fatale works great on fine hair is good for creating a wet look,” Manolo said. “The Laque Couture hairspray is nice for providing flexible hold to styled hair and it leaves a nice shine. The Mousse Bouffante and the Lift Verige I use to create volume at the roots that looks natural even on hair that is heavy or flat.”
Truly providing an artistic palette for stylists, the Couture Styling collection is living up to the buzz that has been circulating the hair care world for several months. Manolo and his stylists are creating stunning off-the-runway looks for the everyday and continue to transform the salon experience by offering impeccable service, premium products and a global perspective on the definition of style.
