Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Inc. Updates The Addison in Boca Raton
Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Inc. has been working on interior renovations at The Addison, a historic property in Boca Raton. The firm has updated the Solano Ballroom, Mizner Ballroom, and has completed work in the restaurant and restaurant bathrooms. In 2014 Marc-Michaels will continue the renovations to the Solano Bathrooms.
Designed by famed architect Addison Mizner in 1926, The Addison is an exquisite venue and is considered one of the most important pieces of architecture in South Florida. Addison Mizner found his original inspiration during a trip with his father to Guatemala, where he fell in love with the Spanish art and architecture.
The design team at Marc-Michaels has given the spaces at The Addison a fresh update and lightened up the backgrounds in keeping with the historical style of the buildings. Some of the changes have included new paint, wall paneling and drapery treatments, custom doors and lighting.
