Marion County Jailer is Telmate’s Hero of the Month
MARION COUNTY, KY (PRWEB) November 26, 2014 -- Certified Jail Manager Barry Brady, and Telmate’s December 2014 Hero of the Month, embodies his title as a corrections leader. He began his career in the corrections industry in 1986 as a Corrections Officer with U.S. Corrections Corporation and over the years, has advanced through the ranks; from Chief of Security to Assistant Warden to Warden.
Brady was elected as Marion County Jailer in 2002 and throughout his career has received plenty of accolades for his dedication, commitment and professionalism. In 2011, Brady completed the Certified Jail Managers program.
As Jailer, the asset that Brady values most is the safety of his professionally trained work force. Since partnering with Telmate, he believes that it has helped them in the day-to-day operational efficiencies.

Jailer Brady is no stranger to being recognized in the community. His honors include 2011 Marion County Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Person, the 2010 Kentucky Jailer Association Jailer of the Year, and the American Jailers Association 28th Annual Board of Directors Award in April 2009. He has also served eight terms on the Kentucky Jailers Association Board of Directors.
“As Jailer, I hope that my legacy has positioned Marion County at the forefront of the changing paradigm of the industry,” said Brady.
