Mark Holliway to Make His Directorial Debut with His First Stage Play in Austin, Texas
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Mark Holliway is making his directorial debut with his first stage play in Austin, Texas at the renowned Hyde Park Theater. The play 'Frankenstein and the Polio Girl' takes place in the south during the 1960s. It tells the story of a young girl stricken with polio who finds her inner strength to overcome her disabilities at the hands of eccentric southern Evangelist who strangely appears in the small town once per year.
As a rising star, Mark is an actor, director, writer and producer of films and stage plays. He is a Meisner trained actor having studied under David A. Cox. He is currently co-producing and staring in a feature film called ‘The White Horse of St. Charles,’ which is slated to be filmed in Austin, Texas in 2015. Mark has appeared in numerous films, TV shows and plays including is break-thru role in the critically acclaimed award winning feature film ‘Garrison.’ In addition, he has had roles in the network TV shows Friday Night Lights and The Lying Game. He is based out of Austin, Texas and Los Angeles, California and is the executive producer at Pecan Street Studios.
