Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP® Announces New Year's Eve 'Free Cab Ride Home' Program Results
Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga Springs, Amsterdam, Utica and Plattsburgh, NY (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP today announced the results of its New Year’s Eve Free Cab Ride Home Partner Program. The partner program, initiated in December 2013, gives like-minded local businesses and organizations opportunity to unite in the common goal of keeping communities safe over the holidays by reducing the number of accidents caused by drunk driving.
The highly successful program has steadily garnered more visibility over the past two years. 2014, in particular, had the greatest amount of safe cab rides home with a 40% increase from 2013. In 2013, over 500 complimentary cab rides were provided to New Year’s Eve party goers; in 2014, over 700 safe rides home were provided free of charge.
“We are thrilled that our holiday cab ride program has been instrumental in keeping over 1,200 drunk drivers off the street during New Year’s Eve alone,” said managing partner, Paul Harding, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP. “We are also pleased to include more and more like-minded community partners each year to support this successful program. It is our goal to continue to raise awareness of the program through our partners and via word of mouth and other initiatives in 2015. We look forward to providing even more cab rides at the next party event, Super Bowl 2015, on Sunday, February 1st.”
The following organizations were instrumental in helping the firm give a total number of 700+ safe rides home for the 2014 New Year’s Eve Free Cab Ride Home Program – a record for the firm:
Albany, NY – Blue 82, Addictions Care Center of Albany, Legends on Pearl, Steuben Athletic Club, The Low Beat
Burlington, VT – Burlington Elks Lodge #916
Saratoga Springs, NY – Mamatoga, Peabody’s Sports Bar, The Parting Glass, RenderTribe, Chequed.com, Saratoga Today, Thirsty Owl Saratoga, Restaurant at 62 Beekman, The Saratoga Social
Schenectady, NY – DocSTAR, Niskayuna Community Action Program (N-CAP)
Troy, NY – Bootleggers on Broadway
Jenny Witte, Founder and blogger, Mamatoga and a second-year FCRH Program Partner stated, "One of the best parts of the program is that it really impacts the entire community. People that are going out and who are having a drink at a party but also people who are going to the grocery store with the kids in the car. One less drunk driver behind the wheel is one less accident that could impact not only that drunk driver but the family that’s going to the restaurant down the street for dinner that night."
