Marubeni and Zep Solar Sign Sole Distributorship Agreement for the Japanese Market

Zep Solar, an independent business unit of SolarCity, has enabled industry-leading improvements in solar mounting technology. Maurbeni is one of Japan’s largest global trading companies—with specialties in energy, natural resources, and agriculture—has over 25 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry. The agreement provides Marubeni sales rights in Japan, and will enable Marubeni to pursue substantial market penetration across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial customers.
As solar incentives in Japan undergo planned reductions over the next several years, the residential and commercial markets can remain strong by achieving reduced system costs and simpler installation solutions.
