To establish rights as a father who has not married the mother, you have to bring a court action called a paternity action.”
Additionally, with the birth of a child, a father in Florida is subject to the financial obligation of child support; however, without affirmative court action or agreement and acquiescence by the mother, he doesn’t have parental responsibility or rights to time share.
