St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) March 06, 2015 -- Saints Soccer Camp
Students will spend a week with Maryville University head soccer coaches learning fundamental technical and tactical elements of soccer as part of this 30-year summer camp tradition. All campers will have the opportunity to grow individually as a player and learn what it truly means to work with a team. Open to all skill levels, ages 8-16.
Sessions:
• May 31-June 5: Girls
• June 7-June 12: Girls
• June 14-June 19: Boys
• June 21-June 26: Girls

Cheerleading and Dance Camps
Maryville University’s Spirit Program cheer and dance teams are partnering with the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) and National Dance Association (NDA), both division of Varsity Brands Inc., to host two summer camps. These camps will work in collaboration with Peter Michel, Spirit coordinator and head cheer and dance coach.

NCA Non-Building Cheer Camp: July 16-19
The cheer camp is a no stunting camp and is geared toward non-building cheerleading teams. Teams are required to bring one adult coach/chaperone per cheerleading program.
Cost:
Overnight Participant: $339
Overnight Coach: $324
Commuter Participant: $205 (Does not include meals or lodging)
Commuter Coach: $105 (Does not include meals or lodging)

NDA Elite Dance Camp: July 20-23
The dance camp is geared toward dance teams of all ability levels and will cover beginner through elite level dance material. Teams are required to bring one adult coach/chaperone per dance program.

Boys Basketball Camp
Open to boys and young men ages 8-15, the Maryville University Basketball Camp combines technical basketball instruction, competitive drill sequences and structured game situational play. Led by head men’s basketball coach Kevin Carroll and his staff of enthusiastic and knowledgeable assistants and players, all players will improve their understanding and skill level on the court while also having fun.
Session: June 1-4

Girls Basketball Camp
Open to girls and young women entering grades 3-8, the 14th annual Maryville University Women’s Basketball Camp will emphasize all aspects of fundamental basketball, as well as provide opportunities for individual and team competition. All campers will receive a Maryville Saints t-shirt.
Session: July 27-29, 9-11 a.m.

Media Now STL High School Digital Media Summer Camp
Maryville University is partnering with Media Now STL to host a digital media workshop for high school students. Students will push their design, writing, photography, web and multimedia skills to the limit with hands-on instruction. Professional journalists, and collegiate and scholastic experts will teach the courses.
Session: June 21-24
Cost: $285, Early Bird (through April 1); $300, Regular Open Registration (April 2-June 1); $325, Late Fee (After June 1). Additional $100 housing fee for students who wish to stay on campus.

Summer Science and Robotics Program for High Ability Students
Maryville University’s Summer Science and Robotics Program for High Ability Students is a premier academic summer program for children and teens ages 4-15 who are either already identified as gifted or who perform well above others their age in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) fields, including building with Lego ®. Students can pair robotics courses with engaging math, art and science courses that are taught by highly qualified faculty including an architect, computer programmer, chemistry professor and gifted certified teachers.
Session: July 13-24. Participants may take up to four classes. Lunch is available for full-day participants. Before and after care are available.

Pre-College Art & Design Summer Program
The Maryville University Pre-College Art & Design Summer Program provides high school students who have completed grades 9-12 with the unique opportunity to study with college level faculty in a highly creative and enriching art school setting. Students will acquire art and design foundational concepts and skills, develop digital media projects, work with three-dimensional space and form, and gain exposure to the disciplines of interior and graphic design. Students will develop confidence in their work and learn about careers in art and design while producing projects suitable for college admissions portfolios.
Sessions:
•Session One: June 15 – June 26, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
•Session Two: July 13 – July 24, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
•Workshop: Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $500 per two-week session for one session; $950 for two sessions; $65, one-day Saturday workshop. In addition, students are required to provide and bring art supplies to classes each day.

Rawlings Sport Business Management Summer Institute
The Rawlings Sport Business Management Summer Institute, sponsored by the Rawlings Sport Business Management program in the John E. Simon School of Business, will provide students with learning opportunities in sponsorship, ticket sales and service, team and conference management, game day operations, sport product development and projects related to the business of sports. Students will receive exclusive access to respected leaders in the sports industry and have the opportunity to visit Rawlings Sporting Goods, Busch Stadium and Scottrade Center, among others. The program is an overnight institute and is open to students entering their junior or senior year of high school.
Session: July 14 – 18
Cost: $725; covers lodging, meals, tickets to various sport and entertainment events, transportation and a Rawlings Sport Business Management shirt.
