Mashable Announces Josh Dickey as its Entertainment Editor
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Mashable, the leading media company for the Connected Generation and the voice of digital culture, announced today that it has hired Josh Dickey as its Entertainment Editor to lead the expansion of the site's entertainment coverage.
Over the past few years, Mashable has been documenting the ways digital has changed the creation and consumption of entertainment. It has covered topics ranging from the rise of Netflix binge watching and the iTunes album release, to the most retweeted selfie at the Oscars and disruption of filming techniques by pocket-sized devices. Dickey, with the editorial entertainment team, will continue to chronicle this evolution and the entertainment trends to come.

Josh will be based in Mashable’s new Los Angeles office, which will open later this year.
Before joining Mashable, Dickey was the Managing Editor of The Wrap. Prior to The Wrap, he was an editor at TMZ and Variety, and previously worked for the Associated Press on the national news desk and as its entertainment editor in Hollywood.
