Massachusetts Companies to Participate in Polish Trade Mission to Develop Medical Tourism
Brookline, MA (PRWEB) October 16, 2013 -- Ms. Elizabeth Ziemba, President of Medical Tourism Training Inc., and Mr. Irving Stackpole, President of Stackpole & Associates, Inc. have been invited to participate in the Trade Mission meeting sponsored by the Polish Ministry of the Economy in New York City on November 7, 2013.
Mr. Stackpole will share his marketing expertise with a presentation entitled, “Marketing Tactics to Find and Attract US Patients.” Delivering a presentation entitled, “Successfully Competing for and Winning US Patients,” Ms. Ziemba will focus on the competitive advantages that Poland and its health care providers offer to American patients to encourage them to engage in health and wellness tourism. According to Ms. Ziemba, “As a Polish-American working in the international health travel sector, I am delighted to share my insights and advice with the meeting attendees. It is my hope that Americans of all ethnic backgrounds will travel to Poland to experience the hospitality of the Polish people as well as the excellent health and wellness services available there.”
The Medical Tourism Trade Mission to be held at the Polish Consulate in New York City is sponsored by a consortium of organizations focused on increasing travel to Poland for medical services. The organizers include AMEDS Centrum, European Center for Enterprise and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. Also attending the trade mission are representatives from several health care providers including the American Heart of Poland, Carolina Medical Center, Medical Park Riverside Spa, Ustron and the Wieliczka Salt Mine Health Resort. Equilibrium, a health travel provider, will also attend as it coordinates medical and travel services for clients going to Poland.
Registration for the meeting is free to medical tourism specialists, medical travel facilitators, and insurance companies interested in learning more about the health and wellness services available in Poland. “The Trade Mission meeting is a wonderful opportunity for American travel agents, businesses, and health care providers to gather information about the providers attending this event,” says Ms. Ziemba. “Poland is not just for Polish Americans.
