Matrox Releases New iOS 7-Compatible MuraControl for iPad App
(PRWEB) October 29, 2013 -- Matrox® Graphics Inc. today announced the immediate availability of a new, upgraded version of the Matrox MuraControl™ for iPad® app optimized to run on the latest iOS 7 mobile operating system from Apple®. This free remote control application for Matrox Mura™ MPX-powered video walls offers an easy way to navigate between existing layouts and generate new ones. New functionality includes the ability to select and display layouts created with Matrox MuraControl 2.0 for Windows® video wall management software, which offers advanced features such as layout scheduling and source touring.

MuraControl for iPad is an intuitive touch panel interface that replicates the video wall on the tablet so users can effortlessly switch, scale, and manage inputs to create and/or access previously saved layouts. The Apple iPad communicates to the video wall by sending IP commands through the Mura Network API to the Mura MPX video wall controller boards so all changes affect the video wall in real time. The new MuraControl for iPad app is compatible with iOS 5 and up and iPad 2 and later.
