Mauritia G. Kamer Joins Steptoe & Johnson PLLC
Lexington, Ky (PRWEB) September 22, 2016 -- Mauritia G. Kamer has joined the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. Kamer will focus her practice in the area of labor and employment law in the firm’s Kentucky offices. She will be based in the firm’s Lexington office.
Kamer defends employers in state and federal litigation and before administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also counsels them in a broad range of day-to-day labor and employment matters like employment policies, wage and hour, medical leave, and disability accommodation. Her practice also involves advising employers in specific areas including Title VII matters, FMLA compliance, as well as Age Discrimination in Employment Act, I-9, and ADA compliance.
