MAX Cases Donates Laptop Bags to Harvey-Displaced Teachers
Costa Mesa, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2017 -- MAX Cases, the education-specialized manufacturer of protective cases and accessories for mobile technology products, announced today that it has donated 400 of its “Explorer Bag” products to Kingwood High School teachers who have been relocated due to devastating flooding on campus.
Located within the Kingwood community of Houston, Texas, Kingwood School sustained extensive flood damage when Hurricane Harvey made landfall with the United States in late-August.
“Because teachers had already fixed up their rooms for the new school year the week before Harvey hit, all of their supplies and technology was damaged and lost in the flood,” explained Jerri Monbaron, Executive Director of the Humble ISD Education Foundation. “The teachers are very grateful to have these cases. Thank you for this donation and in demonstrating your support of educators.”
While the rebuilding and restoration process for both the school and all areas affected by Harvey will be gradual and trying, MAX Cases hopes its contribution can provide some amount of relief to the Kingwood High School teachers displaced by the hurricane.
