Maxx Orthopedics and Invibio Partner to Create Innovative PEEK-OPTIMA® Knee
Plymouth Meeting, PA (PRWEB) February 24, 2016 -- Maxx Orthopedics, Inc. the U.S. subsidiary of Maxx Medical, Pvt. Ltd., a rapidly expanding global orthopedics device company, today announced that it has partnered with Invibio Knees Ltd (“Invibio®”) to develop a PEEK- OPTIMA® femoral knee replacement.
The femoral knee replacement is in pre-market phase and was created using advanced technology to address some of the unmet needs of more than half a million patients annually who are not satisfied with their outcome after total knee arthroplasty using metal-based knee solutions.

The knee will be on display at the 2016 Annual Association of Orthopedic Surgeons Meeting, March 3 through March 5, 2016 inside Maxx Booth #3715 and Invibio® Booth #3331. The companies have undertaken extensive lab testing and are now planning international clinical trials to further evaluate and test this innovative product.
