MayView Announces New CEO Kelvin Quan
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) February 04, 2015 -- MayView Community Health Center announced the appointment of Kelvin Quan JD EdD MPH as MayView Chief Executive Officer effective February 2, 2015. Dr. Quan brings more than thirty years of health care experience to his role. He has held executive leadership positions at several Bay Area health care organizations.

Dr. Quan said, “I’m truly honored to be entrusted with the leadership of the dedicated staff of MayView, who have provided care to those most in need throughout northern Santa Clara County since 1972. MayView is poised to continue its commitment in this most dynamic time for health care access, quality and affordability.”
Dr. Quan is a healthcare and community leader with extensive experiences. Prior to join in MayView Community Health Center, Dr. Quan served as Chief Administrative Officer of On Lok Senior Health Services and Associate Dean at University of California, Berkeley’s School of Public Health. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief Financial Officer & General Counsel at San Francisco Health Plan and Alameda Alliance for Health and held senior executive roles at Chinese Hospital, Mills-Peninsula Hospital and French Hospital Medical Center. He currently serves on three non-profit boards and previously volunteered on nearly thirty community boards in healthcare advocacy, community technology, social services, education, youth services, and historic preservation.
Dr. Quan earned his Master of Public Health in Corporate Healthcare Management from the University of California, Berkeley; Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law; and Doctorate of Education from San Francisco State University. He holds a double major in Economics & History from Northwestern University.
