MBE Magazine Unveils New Contest for “MBEs Who Rock!”
Henderson, NV (PRWEB) September 08, 2015 -- As the NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Development Council) National Conference draws near, MBE magazine is preparing a little something special to honor those who excel in their business and community.
Based on the popular “WBEs Who Rock” contest, the “MBEs Who Rock” contest will follow a similar form, but this time both men and women are open for nominations. All companies and businesses which support minority owned businesses and supplier diversity are invited to nominate a minority business leader who not only exceeds expectations in business or industry, but also supports their local communities and causes.
The awards for the winners of the contest will be presented on Saturday, October 17, 2015 prior to the NMSDC National Conference in San Diego, CA, and in conjunction with the Council for Supplier Diversity at the San Diego Harbor.
“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with the Council for Supplier Diversity and recognize those who excel in their industry,” says Barbara Oliver, publisher of MBE magazine.
Prior to the unveiling at the San Diego Harbor, Macy’s will be holding an event at its Horton Plaza location. Guests are invited to stop by and get outfitted for their night on the bay - this year’s color scheme is blue and white.
