McLaren 570S Sports Car on Display in LA at BritWeek Launch Party
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 21, 2015 -- One of the world's most hotly anticipated new British sports cars will be on display at the BritWeek 2015 Launch Party on April 21.
The private event kicks off a city-wide celebration of all things British – Film, art, music and even sports cars are to be honored in this year's event. The display is part of a partnership between BritWeek and McLaren Auto Gallery Beverly Hills.
The new racing-derived sports car, fresh from it's debut at the New York International Auto show, will flank the celebrity-studded red carpet at this year's opening BritWeek event.
The 570S marks a new chapter in McLaren's 51-year history. Set to be priced below the company's current range of McLaren P1™ and 650S exotic cars, the 570S breaks new ground for the Surrey-based manufacturer.
From the car's aerodynamically sculpted bodywork to its lightweight chassis and twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the 570S represents pure McLaren DNA. These elements are more than simple talking points – 570S weighs over 300 pounds less than its nearest competitor and accelerates half a second quicker to 100 MPH.
After the event, the new McLaren is slated to return to its Beverly Hills showroom on Wilshire Blvd. where it will be seen by prospective clients and customers who placed an order for the new car before it was even unveiled.
