MCNA Insurance Company Appoints Former Texas Governor Rick Perry to Board of Directors

In addition to his participation on the Board, Mr. Perry serves as a high-level advisor to the executive leadership of the company on a range of strategic issues including governmental relations and business development.

Mr. Perry has a distinguished career in public service. He served as Governor of the State of Texas for 14 years, the longest serving governor in the state's history. While Governor, he served two terms as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association. He has also played an influential role in national politics as a two-time candidate for President of the United States of America. Mr. Perry's sensible fiscal policies and transparent, accountable leadership style produced a proven track record for job growth and economic success, and has become a model for cost savings and economic stability for other states to follow.
