MDeverywhere Releases Practice 1st Version 3.2, Its Revolutionary Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Software Application, Including ICD-10 Functionality and Sandbox
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) November 18, 2013 -- MDeverywhere, Inc., a leader in revenue cycle management and electronic medical record solutions for physicians, today announced the release of version 3.2 of Practice 1st, its state-of-the-art Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Management software application. With new features focused on improving the client experience and aiding their transition to ICD-10, version 3.2’s enhancements include:
-- An ‘Add Quick Code’ feature allows the addition of both ICD-9 and ICD-10 diagnosis codes, in addition to the procedure codes, to the patient encounter streamlining the coding process.
-- Two Code Search fields - one specifically for procedure codes and the other for diagnosis codes to accommodate the 69,000 ICD-10 codes differentiates the code search fields to minimize coding confusion and provide clear coding direction to our clients.
-- An ICD-10 Look Up button allows users to easily look up the new codes that will replace their ICD-9 codes. This Look Up feature also has reverse search capability to find the corresponding ICD-9 code when an ICD-10 code is entered. Ensuring the correct code for each encounter is key to minimizing negative impact to cashflow in the coming months.
-- An ICD-10 Demo sandbox is live providing medical staff a safe place to familiarize themselves and get comfortable with the enhancements to Practice 1st as well as the ICD-10 code changes specific to their specialty without concern of corrupting live patient data.
-- In addition to the ICD-10 functionality, the new release features additional enhancements including updated layouts and enhanced scheduling capabilities.
