MDM Healthcare, Inspira Health Network Announce Patient Education Partnership
Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- MDM Healthcare is proud to announce a partnership with Inspira Health Network utilizing the Journey Patient Experience Solution in all of their Medical Centers. With a combined 600+ patient beds throughout the Vineland, Woodbury and Elmer campuses, the Journey solution will provide Inspira Health Network with a powerful tool to enhance their ongoing efforts to inform and educate their patient population.
All three facilities use the Journey Prescribed On-Demand Patient Experience Solution. The On-Demand system leverages the hospital’s existing cable infrastructure, which allows for easy setup and integration. The system also offers one or more scheduled play channels that focus on relaxation, general health, nutrition, or wellness content provided by MDM Healthcare’s content partners.
Tom Pacek, Chief Information Officer at Inspira Health Network said the Journey solution has had a positive impact on patients at each of the facilities. “The ease of use has been one of the biggest positives with our patients,” said Pacek. “The education and entertainment content are fantastic and very user friendly. The solution allows for staff to “prescribe” patient education videos to a patient’s room and monitor usage at the patient level. The content is accessible in the hospitals, clinics and can also be sent home to the patient or family member via email and/or their smartphone. The solution provides hospitals with a means of delivering education, relaxation content and entertainment options for the patient.
