MEA’s Fall Leadership Boot Camp Now Enrolling
Eagan, MN (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- MEA’s Utility Leadership Academy (ULA) is offering an online virtual boot camp for up-and-coming leaders in the energy industry. The ULA is working to encourage leadership growth in current energy utility operations employees by offering the 2014 Fall Leadership Boot Camp. This virtual classroom will run from September – November, 2014.
The Fall Leadership Boot Camp follows the successful completion of the Spring Leadership Boot Camp. Spring participants had great things to say about the boot camp. “I enjoyed it all. I guess what’s impactful for me is to learn from my emotional discomforts. Hearing how I can put strategies into place is wonderful,” Boot Camp Participant, 2nd webinar feedback. “The strengths based leadership topic helped most. I am more aware of my leadership style, and that my way of leading, although different from my boss, is valid. The boot camp provides opportunities for new and current leaders to dig deeper into their personal leadership skills.

Time frame: 3 month program – September, October, November 2014
Time commitment: 60 – 90 minutes per week (approximately)

Emotional Intelligence – using the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessment results to understand and employ emotions beneficially inside the workplace facilitated by Barb.
Leadership Trademark – understanding the character and competencies that create a voice of leadership facilitated by Barb.
Fast Forward Your Career – industry specific insights on the seven principles for career success facilitated by book author and former MEA President, Ric Hinkie.
