Mediation.com Adds Former Judge and Army Captain David Mann To Its Top-Notch Attorney-Mediator Network
Cape Girardeau, MO (PRWEB) November 23, 2013 -- David Mann has announced his recent membership in one of the nation’s most popular online ADR network, Mediation.com. As an approved arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) with unique experience as an attorney, officer and judge, the move is designed to place him in a strategic position to reach more client seeking top-notch mediation services for child custody, commercial, divorce, DUI and criminal, environmental or securities disputes.
“Every chapter in my life has taught me skills that I use every day in my mediation practice,” said Mann. “The army taught me leadership and self-reliance, my legal work taught me to respect my opponents and the law, and being a judge taught me to see the bigger picture and objectivity. Today I use all of these attributes to better serve my mediation clients.”
After being granted an honorable discharge from the army with the rank of Captain, Mann graduated from the Memphis State School of Law in 1974 and was licensed to practice law in Missouri that same year. He established himself as a sole practitioner until 1979, when he was elected as an Associate Circuit Judge, a position he served in until 2006. He formed the firm Wilson & Mann in 2007, concentrating on criminal defense issues.
Mann is admitted to practice in all Missouri courts and the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Cape Girardeau County Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
