He is a Supreme Court of Florida Certified County, Circuit Mediator, and a Certified Federal Court Mediator for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Crowder served as Chairman of the American Bar Association, Tort and Insurance Practice Section Fidelity & Surety Law Committee and was an Adviser to the distinguished American Law Institute on Restatement of the Law Third, Suretyship & Guaranty, 1990-1995. He is a life member of the Fellows of the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar Foundation, and an emeritus member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
His mediation experience in hundreds of matters in state and federal courts, including work for the American Arbitration Association’s mortgage foreclosure mediation program, has afforded him wide experience since 2003.
