Mediation.com Adds Professional Engineer and Mediator Larry Ellis To Its Expanding Attorney-Mediator Network
Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 25, 2013 -- Even with his degree in Electrical Engineering and being registered as a professional engineer, Larry Ellis found his true calling when he entered the mediation milieu, quickly becoming a rising star and becoming president of Stalemate Solutions in Denver. He recently announced his membership in Mediation.com, one of the fastest-growing networks for mediation professionals from all fields in the country.
“Mediation shouldn’t be a strategy for ‛beating’ the other side, but rather an empathetic and compassionate process where two sides come together with respect and understanding,” said Mr. Ellis. “It not only avoids the expense and stress of litigation but also allows people to deal honestly with each other as people.”
Mr. Ellis has considerable experience in small business ownership and management in such industries as radio and television broadcasting, telecommunications, information technology, aviation, publishing, and software development and publishing. During his ownership and management of various companies over the past forty years, he has negotiated a wide variety of contracts and conflict resolutions.
In addition to being a certificated mediator, Mr. Ellis has served with distinction on the staffs of several non-profit faith organizations and is a professor at the small Christian college the Kaleo Institute, teaching courses on forgiveness and reconciliation. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma and being licensed as a Professional Engineer, he earned a masters and doctorate in the humanities from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. He has authored several books, including “The Secrets of a Successful Small Business: What the University Will Not Teach You” and “Forgiveness: Unleashing a Transformational Process.”
