Mediator Chuck Mancuso to Speak at Fraternal Law Conference Nov. 6
CINCINNATI (PRWEB) November 04, 2014 -- Charles A. "Chuck" Mancuso, mediation counsel with Upchurch Watson White & Max, will travel from his headquarters in South Florida to Ohio to present an hour-long program for the Fraternal Law Conference on Thursday, Nov. 6.
"I will be speaking on the benefits of early ADR involvement in actions involving all aspects of higher education," Mr. Mancuso says. "It's a nice honor and great national exposure for the firm."
Mr. Mancuso has long been involved with and deeply interested in collegiate Greek Life. His talk is titled "Strategic Use of Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution."
Organizers, the Fraternal Law Partners, say the Fraternal Law Conference is the leading legal educational event for fraternities, sororities and their related foundations, and will touch on a number of topics related to risk management and hazing, corporate governance and tax law.
The conference, which will run from 1 to 4:15 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday at the downtown Westin Cincinnati, will have a dual-track format. "One track will address the inner workings of fraternities and sororities, while the second will be targeted specifically to the unique needs of foundations. There will also be a number of shared sessions that will benefit all attendees."
The conference has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 10.00 total CLE hours instruction, available to attorneys who attend.
The sessions are designed for presidents, treasurers/finance officers, executive directors, directors of business operations, directors of chapter services, attorneys/legal counsel and risk management leaders at fraternities, sororities and related foundations. "Leaders of host institutions such as deans of student life, directors of Greek life or other student life officers would also benefit from the conference."
