Medic Receives the 2014 Five Star Excellence Award
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- Mecklenburg EMS Agency (Medic) has been announced as a Five Star Excellence Award winner by Professional Research Consultants (PRC), Inc. The award honors health care facilities and providers who score in the top 10% of performance measures in their fields within the research consultant’s national database.
Medic’s distinction is based on the percentage of patients who rated the overall quality of care delivered by the emergency medical service provider as being “Excellent” in 2013. More than 96% of all patients surveyed rated their experience with Medic positively, with 71% rating the quality of care received as being excellent. This honor is just another example of the Agency’s long standing commitment to excellence through performance-driven outcomes.
