Dr. Mathew is an ophthalmologist and cornea specialist and surgeon. She recently completed her Cornea Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York, New York with Dr. John Seedor and Dr. David Ritterband, who are world renowned Cornea specialists.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, and performed her medical internship at NSLIJ-Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York prior to completing her residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in New York, New York.
Dr. Mathew originally received her bachelor of science degree in biology and sociology and completed post-graduate studies in Clinical Leadership in Health Management from Union College, Schenectady, New York.
