This certification cycle is effective beginning November 26, 2013. The Joint Commission reserves the rights to shorten or lengthen the duration of the cycle; the certificate and cycle are customarily valid for up to 24 months.
The Joint Commission standards go beyond just the 'basics' of state and federal regulations, and set consistently high expectations for quality and safety. The Commission recognizes that successfully meeting these standards is not an easy task, and doing so reserves special recognition.
