MedRebels to Host Cell Therapy Training featuring Regenerative Medicine Industry Leaders
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) September 30, 2016 -- During this two-day CME-Accredited event, MedRebels welcomes several regenerative medicine industry leaders, most notably the internationally-renowned orthopaedic surgeon, clinical researcher, and pioneer in utilizing bone marrow concentrate to treat orthopaedic conditions, Dr. Philippe Hernigou, MD. Dr. Hernigou serves as the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Henri Mondor Hospital at East University at Paris, France. He joins the meeting to review his dozen of peer-reviewed published articles and clinical studies, as well as his experience and clinical data from treating thousands of patients with bone marrow concentrate for the past 30 years. Dr. Hernigou is also joined by physicians Lew Schon, MD, Aaron Calodney, MD, and Don Buford, MD, as well as scientists and researchers Ted Sand, PhD and Matt Murphy, PhD.
The faculty will also review the science, current research, and clinical studies regarding autologous bone marrow concentrate cellular therapy. Physicians will receive hands-on cadaveric training to learn techniques that maximize the cell concentration in a bone marrow aspiration, as well as a variety of applications, like treating discogenic back pain, avascular necrosis, and dermal rejuvenation, just to name a few. They will also learn advanced business and medical marketing strategies from Bob Mangat, the #1 Amazon Best Selling Author of The Automated Entrepreneur.
MedRebels also welcomes Keynote Speakers, Koben Puckett and Captain Tom Chaby, to present their Patient Perspective on how regenerative medicine has played a role in their medical care. Koben Puckett is a former professional bull rider who suffered a spinal cord injury and received autologous stem cell to aid in his recovery. Captain Tom Chaby is a 26-year Veteran Navy Seal, who led Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom; he is also an autologous stem cell therapy recipient.
MedRebels developed Cell Therapy Training to connect industry leaders with physicians interested in incorporate regenerative medicine into their current practice. These educational events focus on autologous, bone-marrow concentrate therapies at point-of-care, and they are designed to support the FDAs regulations on Human Cells and Tissue-based Products (HCT/Ps; 21 CFR 1271) and the Public Health Service (PHS) Act.
It is estimated that 2.1 million Americans suffer from substance use disorders related to prescription opioid pain relievers (National Institute on Drug Abuse, 2014). MedRebels is dedicated to creating awareness about the science, benefits, and possibilities of adult stem cell therapy. MedRebels believes that regenerative medicine is the game-changer on how physicians will treat their patients with chronic pain and orthopaedic conditions, and it will play an integral role in healthcare and battling the opioid epidemic.
