Mending a Broken Past: Life After Child Abuse
LORTON, VA (PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- A young child is trapped in a seemingly hopeless situation with a sexually abusive father and an alcoholic mother, with no one to tell and no place to go. No, this isn’t a work of fiction – it’s author Tracey Casciano’s childhood.
In her new book, Out of the Darkroom, Into the Light, Casciano chronicles her inspiring journey from hopelessness and despair to happiness and forgiveness through God’s grace and love.
Casciano’s story of healing touches not only those who have been victims of sexual abuse, but anyone who is working to overcome tragedy, hardship or a struggle of any kind. She offers real advice for emotional healing through the inclusion of actionable Bible verses.
“This book is about much more than just me and my story; it is a reflection of God’s grace for everyone,” Casciano said. “I wrote Out of the Darkroom, Into the Light to help others who may not have the strength to go forward with their own stories.”
Casciano’s account exposes the lasting effects of child abuse on victims while providing hope and healing for readers.
