Meridian Names Jeff MacDonald Director of Integration
Aberdeen, NC (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- Meridian (http://mzero.com) announced today the promotion of Jeff MacDonald to Director of Integration, an all-new role with the company. The move comes in order to better address company’s operational demands according to Meridian President Buck Warren. “Jeff brings a unique skill set to the table; he is process oriented and great with people. He is exactly who Meridian needs heading up integration,” said Warren.
MacDonald came to Meridian after five and a half years of being contracted with NASA in Cape Canaveral, Fl. There he served as the IT Manager for Ground Systems Development and Operations. Prior to that, he spent 10 years serving in the U.S. Air Force. MacDonald joined Meridian in November 2014 as the Business Technology Adviser; in that role, he worked in collaboration with the sales, engineering and software teams to improve work flow and business processes.
In late February of this year, MacDonald was tapped as Interim Director of Manufacturing. “Jeff really stepped and did an amazing job for us,” said Meridian CEO Chris Gilder. “He allowed us to keep momentum and we have been able to take our time filling that position.”
MacDonald is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Since joining Meridian, he has overseen its ISO certification program and will continue to do so. As Director of Integration, MacDonald will also oversee quality assurance, IT (both internal and external), logistics and shipping, and customer support services.
