Merit Medical OEM Now Offers Medical Coating Services and Coated Components

The two divisions of Merit Medical Systems, Inc. recently merged, and the combined portfolio of products, capabilities and expertise are now offered through Merit Medical OEM.
Merit Medical OEM engineers will showcase the company’s expanded services and products at the MD&M West Expo, Feb. 11 – 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Merit Medical OEM Senior Project Engineer, Garrett Plank, will introduce The Merit Hypotube™, a product that embodies technological advancement with its leading edge manufacturing process, superior coating options and numerous customization possibilities. The presentation will be held at the Merit Medical OEM Booth 1901, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 11 and 12, at 3:00 p.m. PT.
OEM Project Engineers Dave Johnson and Emilia Barrios will offer "Solutions to PFOA-free PTFE Coating Challenges" on Wednesday, Feb 12 at 11:30 a.m. PT.
Project Engineering Director, Dave Johnson, will address key benefits of Merit’s urethane marker bands, which are visible under fluoroscopy, and how they are used in the guidance and placement of catheters. The 10-minute presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and will be held at the Merit Medical OEM Booth 1901, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 11 and 12, at 10:30 a.m. PT.
Merit Sensor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merit Medical Systems, will demonstrate the capabilities of its blood pressure sensors and will highlight the products’ features and applications. The demonstrations will be given by Engineering Manager Scott Sidwell at the Merit Medical OEM Booth 1901, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 11 and 12, at 1:30 p.m. PT.
A professional barista will serve fresh coffee, espresso and hot chocolate to attendees of the Merit Medical OEM presentations, and our professional staff will be available throughout the MD&M Expo to discuss Merit Medical OEM’s quality components, innovative devices, coating capabilities, customization possibilities and engineering solutions to help meet customers’ needs.
