MetroCast Launches Nine New "TV Everywhere" Channels
(PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- FRAZER, Pa. (Dec. 3, 2015) - MetroCast has announced the addition of nine Discovery Communications’ channels to its “TV Everywhere” on-line video offering with the launch of “Discovery GO”.
MetroCast customers who subscribe to the services will now have free, unlimited online access to Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science Channel, Destination America, American Heroes Channel, Discovery Life, and Velocity.
The High Definition (HD) TV Everywhere channels are available on the web, on smartphone or tablet. Viewers may also download the Discovery Go app on the App Store or on Google Play. MetroCast customers that subscribe to the services can view current episodes from the nine networks the day after they air on TV. Additionally, the app and website include live streams of each network.
The addition of the Discovery channels brings the MetroCast “TV Everywhere” offering to over 80 channels,* including A&E, ABC, Adult Swim, Animal Planet, BET, Bravo, C-SPAN, Cartoon Network, CMT, CNN, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, Fox News, Fox Sports 1&2, FX, Hallmark, HGTV, History, Lifetime, MTV, National Geographic Channel, NBC, MSNBC, NBC Sports Network, NFL Network, Nick, Nick Jr., SEC Network, Spike, Sprout, Syfy, TBS, Travel Channel, Turner Classic Movies, TNT, USA, VH-1, HBO GO®, MAX GO®, Showtime Anytime®, Starz Play®, Encore Play® and more.
