MHRV & WSECU Donate More Than $13,000 for Washington State Parks
Olympia, WA (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- MHRV Show Association produces the Seattle and Puyallup RV shows. For the past four years WSECU has been the shows’ presenting sponsor.
MHRV and WSECU each donated $1 from every regularly priced ticket sold at the box office for the shows. The result is the $13,250 joint contribution. This follows a $14,608 donation in 2014.
“We love working with a partner like MHRV Show Association that shares our vision of being a responsible neighbor,” said Ann Flannigan, WSECU’s Vice President of Public Relations. “When you combine RVs together with parks – it’s just a natural fit.”
Because both organizations share a commitment to giving back to their community, the partnership has allowed them to double a contribution beyond what either could do on its own.
“The Association has long been a supporter of our state parks,” said Dave Helgeson, MHRV Show Director. “These amazing places need our attention and our support to keep them accessible and maintained for the next generation. We’re happy to collaborate again with the credit union to help assure that.”
About MHRV: The MHRV (Manufactured Home Recreational Vehicle) Association consists of manufacturers, dealers and vendor member organizations with an all-volunteer Board of Directors. The majority of funds collected go directly toward advertising and promotion of the shows. The MHRV was created for the express purpose of promoting the RV and manufactured home industries. Two major consumer shows are produced each year to support this effort: The Seattle RV Show (in February) and The Puyallup RV Show (in May). The two shows attract over 25,000 consumers each year.
