MIAMI Signs Six New International Partnership Agreements
Miami, FL (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has signed new partnership agreements with six international real estate associations in South America, North America, Europe and Asia. The agreements bring MIAMI’s total to 136 international partnerships, which help create greater exposure for South Florida and the local real estate market, increased business opportunities and a stronger economy.
“Our six new international agreements will help solidify South Florida’s position as the nation’s leading destination for international real estate buyers and investors,” said John Dohm, the 2015 MIAMI Chairman. “These bilateral agreements create business and networking opportunities for MIAMI real estate professionals, increase the visibility of Miami real estate around the globe and add to our diversified, growing local economy.”

According to the 2015 Profile of International Home Buyers in Florida, the Sunshine State is by far the top home buying destination for foreign buyers in the U.S., accounting for 21 percent. In Florida, the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market is the top destination for international buyers, accounting for 50 percent of international sales in the state.
The new agreements will further strengthen foreign buying activity in Miami and South Florida and cement MIAMI’s reputation as a leading international organization connecting markets and expanding international business opportunities.
MIAMI, the largest local Realtor association with more than 41,000 members, has been signing honorary reciprocal agreements with international real estate associations since 1996. MIAMI has bilateral agreements with real estate associations in more than 50 countries. The countries are part of MIAMI’s International Referral Network, which links South Florida properties with more than 100,000 real estate professionals around the world.

Asociación de Corredores de Bienes Raíces de Imbabura is an organization governing the real estate profession in Imbabura, a province in northern Ecuador.
