Michelle Livingstone and Mike Orr Join National Logistics & Distribution Conference (NLDC) Board Of Advisors
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) June 17, 2014 -- The National Logistics & Distribution Conference (NLDC) announces the appointment of Michelle Livingstone and Mike Orr to the NLDC Board of Advisors. Livingstone is Vice President - Transportation for The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. She leads the team that oversees the movement of shipments into and within The Home Depot‘s multi-channel supply chain, including inbound shipments from domestic vendors, all direct imports and exports, and customer deliveries of appliances and store merchandise. Orr is Senior Vice President of Operations & Logistics for Genuine Parts Company in Atlanta, Georgia. He joined the company in 2005 and has more than 25 years of experience in global operations for industrial and consumer products companies. During his time with Genuine Parts Company, Orr also served as Senior Vice President of Operations & Logistics for S.P. Richards Company, a GPC subsidiary.

Additional members of the NLDC Board of Advisors include Brent R. Beabout, SVP, International eCommerce Fulfillment for Walmart in San Francisco, California; Rick D. Blasgen, President and CEO for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals in Lombard, Illinois; and Rob Dugas, Vice President, Supply Chain for Chick-fil-A in Atlanta, Georgia.
During NLDC 2014 it was announced that John J. Coyle, former Director of Corporate Relations for the Center for Supply Chain Research, and Professor Emeritus of Logistics and Supply Chain Management for Penn State University in University Park, Pennsylvania; and Gough Grubbs, Senior Vice President of Logistics/Distribution for Stage Stores in Houston, Texas both became NLDC Board Of Advisors Members Emeritus.
The 2015 National Logistics & Distribution Conference is scheduled for April 13-15 at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center and Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
