Michelman Introducing Two New Off-line DigiPrime Primers at Dscoop EMEA 6
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) June 01, 2017 -- Michelman will introduce Dscoop EMEA 6 attendees to two additions to its industry leading portfolio of HP-recommended DigiPrime® digital press primers. DigiPrime 6611 and DigiPrime 4462 are both environmentally-friendly, water-based primers formulated for use with HP Indigo presses. They are suitable for use on paper and synthetics.
DigiPrime 6611 can be applied near-line, and produces improved ink adhesion on flexible packaging substrates including synthetics and most types of film. It exhibits good lamination bond strength for flexible packaging applications. DigiPrime 6611 is an ideal solution when corona is not available or when drying capacity is limited.
DigiPrime 4462 is an off-line primer that produces excellent ink adhesion and can be used on a wide variety of substrates printed on HP Indigo digital presses. It is particularly effective for demanding applications such as labeling on personal care and consumer products that are continually exposed to water and moisture. DigiPrime 4462 is also suitable for food contact applications.
Michelman will also be highlighting its selection of in-line primers for use on HP Indigo 20000, 30000 and 6000 digital presses.
DigiPrime 050 is a primer formulated for use in the priming and unwinding unit (PUW) of the HP Indigo 20000. It enhances adhesive bond strength between film layers, and can be used in typical adhesive laminated structures.
DigiPrime 060 is an in-line primer for the HP Indigo 30000, It enhances ink adhesion on the substrate, and will not interfere with converting operations including erection of the carton, gluing, date coding and bar coding.
DigiPrime 680 is used inline on the HP Indigo WS6000 series of digital presses. It is effective for flexible packaging printing applications, improves ink receptivity on most types of film, and exhibits good lamination bond strength.
Michem® In-Line Primer 030 is also for use with the HP Indigo WS6000 series of presses. It improves the surface of a wide range of paper and filmic label stocks, including textured papers and transparent label stock.
