Michigan Consulting Start-Up has Explosive Growth in First 3 Years of Business
TROY, MICHIGAN (PRWEB) September 08, 2017 -- Cumulus Consulting, LLC, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation firm started by two former Plex employees, is experiencing significant growth since its founding in 2014, prompting them to expand partnerships beyond Plex to include SAP, and move into larger office space designed to accommodate additional anticipated growth, and facilitate creativity among team members.
Cumulus specializes in ERP cloud system implementations and optimizations for manufacturing and processing companies worldwide along with developing and implementing technology and software to help companies better understand and manage their businesses. Principals Craig Scott and Jason Delozier, former Plex employees, founded the company on the belief that they could help implement Plex software to streamline the process more effectively and efficiently than Plex could, and indeed, Plex now frequently refers its customers to Cumulus for implementation. The team’s broad range of manufacturing experience has earned Cumulus a reputation for comprehensive knowledge of the entire manufacturing experience, from the top down to the shop floor. “We don’t just talk the talk. We all come from manufacturing backgrounds and know what companies struggle with, and use that knowledge to enhance the implementation experience by becoming a trusted advisor,” says Delozier. Their reputation led SAP Software Solutions to contact Cumulus and extend a partnership invitation. The partnership became official in May 2017 and is considered a tremendous milestone by the Cumulus team.
Cumulus moved into an expanded office space on May 26, 2017 to accommodate anticipated growth over the next 12-18 months. Advancement is expected in these areas: SAP Business ByDesign products and integration, point of sales integration, and radio-frequency identification (RFID). Cumulus will also focus on creating more functionality for ERP and increasing its ease of use by developing and implementing new mobile platforms. “If it’s not there, we will build it,” says Scott. Situated in a park-like setting, the new office was designed to reflect Cumulus’ core values of professionalism, ingenuity, hard work and creativity. The conference room table was even custom built by Scott himself.
